Long time, no update. With a reason? No, not really. Anyway, things've been busy in the meantime. There is an Astathica myspace page right here, and i'll re-do the website soon(-ish) since i've seem to have lost my source files with transferring from my PC to my new iMac.

Furthermore, on another note, the new cd is nearly finished. It was 3 years ago nearly finished too, i hear you think. True, but (mainly technologically-wise) things have changed.

On another another note, the next album will feature keyboards done by Maarten, and probably will feature some vocals by Tonny D. Keep your ears (and/or eyes) open for more.

Astathica decided to co-operate with Thomas Kok on the upcoming release. Thomas will be doing solo- and additional guitars. Although not sure, he might do some additional vocals as well. You'll be updated.
The recording process on the new album has slowed down somewhat, because of a major breakdown in the hardware. Luckily enough there is no deadline for the next release.

According to the latest news(/rumours), Gayniac has left Mayhem and the mighty Attila joined. Astathica's statement on the issue: "Finally the Mayhem will become true again". If you wish to discuss this in a further matter, use the guestbook or visit Zenial's Lost Souls Domain Forum.

Today or tomorrow the website will be uploaded to a free, probably crappy host. Still, it's better then nothing. Furthermore, Astathica denies any involvement in the murder on Theo van Gogh.

There are already 3 songs plus an intro and a cover of Burzum's "A lost sad forgotten spirit" recorded, except for vocals and some bass lines.

Recording of the new album/mini is going smoothly, the first song has been finished for guitars/drums (though it's a rough mix). Second song is halfway there. Hiring Obscura (Toorn) for bass duties is an option, but probably won't happen.
Website updated. Soon online, as will be the Toorn website. Babygrinder website is in construction, www.jemoederiseenhoer.tk will probably become the domain for that one.
